The Mission of this Role

 

Focus has a growing portfolio of products that need Account Executives aka Business Leaders to bring their value to the market. We're looking for executives who can understand the challenges of the market and match them with our solutions and drive scale.

The mission is to help perfect the building of pipeline and really drive one or more verticals. Ideally, successful Senior Account Executives will have the potential for continued promotion and own regions or verticals and opportunity to build their teams within 12-24 months.
 

Basic requirements for this role:

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience for SaaS, Cloud and related technology services in a business to business environment
  • Strong understanding of ERP and CRM business solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new solutions and functional concepts
  • Proven record of consistent achievement against sales targets

Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehousing, Logistics, Facilities, Real Estate, Education, Retail, Automotive, Professional Services, Human Capital Management, general CRM and more

Start: March through May, internship ends last week of August

Hours per week: Part-time 20-30 hours a week during the Spring and Full-time hours during the Summer

Convert to Full-Time Employee: Some or all interns, depending on performance and fit, will receive Full-Time offers to start anytime between June - September

Singapore or Dubai: Some or all interns, depending on performance and fit, will be given an opportunity to travel to one of our international offices and experience the global reach and value of Focus

Have you ever looked at a digital product and wondered if the product could have been communicated or presented better? Would you say you like to use data to make decisions? Does your work typically stand out in its effectiveness to communicate a message? Do you find happiness in the font, design styles or colors you use because you know your audience will appreciate it? Do you keep track of metrics and how effective your presentations are and try to improve them?

If some or all of these things describe you then keep reading.

The ideal person for this internship can empathize with the needs of others, is business data driven, has an eye for aesthetics, a way with words that engage the audience and the ability to create stories that captivate. The person also knows the world of digital products and how to stand out at an event. But communication and design are not the end goals.

This person would be most interested in the effectiveness of their work by tracking key metrics and proposing which digital and event platforms to leverage. Then using those data from these metrics to fine-tune, improve and scale the support of sales.

The Mission of this Role


Ideally, the person who takes this role, based on performance and fit, will be given a full-time Account Executive role. In the AE role the person will own their own book of business and build a market for themselves with a great base salary, benefits and potential to significantly grow their income.

This role will support senior Focus team members in doing market research, talking to prospects and supporting other members of the team with account lead creation and management. Successful interns will be curious about learning about the business and the market, empathize the needs of the customer, anticipate how to support other team members and have the determination to achieve their goals.
